Sustainable Communities

As founder members of the community interest company "Egregoria", we're working on a number of joint initiatives to develop communities that lead the way as centres of excellence in sustainability.

Our approach to the creation of sustainable communites...

Hamilton House

This 55,000 sq.ft. office block is our Head Office. Much of the building is now let to Coexist, a community interest company led by two young entrepreneurs, who are successfully developing an important hub for artists designers and (other) young entrepreneurs.

Stoke Park

Stoke Park is a rural setting just outside the centre of Bristol. We're examining the possibility of working with Bristol Council and other stakeholders to create a school, eco-village and working community farm.

We hope that you're as excited by this vision as we are and we're seeking the views of the people of Bristol on what you'd like to see happen with Stoke Park - follow the link below to make comments.

Frome Energy Village

This disused factory (formerly Weston Vinyls), including its 4½ acre site on the western edge of Frome, offers an opportunity to create a true model sustainable community. After discussions with local people and the local authority, we are applying for permission to build an exciting mixed use scheme, possibly with its own renewable energy generator on site.
